En Octubre, nuestra agencia ganó el “Innovative Practices Award”, en la Conferencia NC de WIC, 2008. Hacemos un VENA favorable al denominado “Educación Nutricional Menú” que le da al cliente la oportunidad de elegir su tema de la educación en nutrición! Hay tres menús: Mujeres, Infantes y Niños. Cada menú tiene 7-10 temas para elegir, como el estreñimiento, la lactancia materna, y bocadillos saludables. Estamos comprometidos a proporcionar la educación en nutrición en Inglés y Español por lo que es específico a la lengua y cultural necesidades de nuestros clientes. Además, pensamos que si un cliente escoge su acción paso, hay una mayor probabilidad de suscitar el cambio.Por favor, mirar el vídeo de nosotros aceptamos el premio.

In October our agency won the “Innovative Practices Award” at the 2008 NC WIC Conference. We designed a VENA-friendly approach called the “Nutrition Education Menu” that gives the client the opportunity to choose their nutrition education topic! There are three menus: Women, Infants, and Children. Each menu has 7-10 topics to choose from such as constipation, breastfeeding, and healthy snacks. We are committed to providing nutrition education in English and Spanish so that it is specific to the language and cultural needs of our clients. Additionally, we feel that if a client chooses their action step, there is a greater likelihood of eliciting change.
